About Me

I am a Finland based hobbyist artist with an interest in mathematics and languages. In this blog I will share my love for these and much more in pictures and writing.

I grew up drawing and painting a lot, always drawing my favorite cartoon and comic characters (and sometimes family members) on whatever papers I could find. I was luckily enrolled into a after school art programme in elementary school, and later I joined the art programme in my upper secondary school, both of which helped me with my exploration with art styles and mediums.

As I went on to study mathematics (my academic passion) in university I put art to the side, as a hobby. I kind of lost my passion for art, prioritizing my studies and social media over the joy of creating things. After many breaks from art, I’ve come back to it again and again, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop making art at this rate.

In the last two years I started taking open college art classes and started making more art in my free time, and have found my passion once more.

I also knit, crochet and sew, even though I tend to struggle with sewing machines and lose count of my stitches all the time, but I try my best! I also love learning new languages, and try to be at least conversational in the ones I have learned. I now know Finnish (my mother tongue), English, Italian and some Spanish! I need to practice my Swedish…

I also love games and TTRPGs (tabletop role-playing games), and have dabbled in game-making. But as I have not had a lot of patience to learn to code games in recent years, I have not gotten to explore that any further, but I am interested in other parts of the game making journey, like the visual side and the stories.
